Use in Pregnancy

Not recommended ibuprofen administered during pregnancy. Reproduction studies in animals showed no evidence of developmental abnormalities. However, these studies are not always predictive of human response. There are no adequate and well controlled studies in pregnant patients. Due to the known effects of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs on the fetal cardiovascular system (patent ductus arteriosus), should avoid its use during the late stage of pregnancy.

Just as occurs with other drugs that inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, an increased incidence of dystocia and delayed delivery in rats. Not recommended the use of ibuprofen during labor.

This medicine should not be used by pregnant women without medical advice. Tell your doctor immediately if pregnancy is suspected.

Use during lactation

In limited studies with a detection method to 1mcg / ml did not show the presence of ibuprofen in the milk of nursing mothers.
