The largest city in the state of Nebraska, Omaha warehouse is a center of industry and innovation. Located on the Missouri River, it was given the nickname of “Gateway to the West” due to its important role as a national transportation hub. Today, it is home to four major Fortune 500 companies including Berkshire Hathaway, Kiewit Corporation, Mutual of Omaha and Union Pacific Corporation. It also has a rich music history and many cultural attractions such as the Omaha Community Playhouse and Henry Doorly Zoo.

As for shopping, the city boasts several major malls, including the Aksarben Village and Sorensen Park Plaza. There are also plenty of smaller boutiques and independent shops scattered throughout the area. In addition, there are a number of restaurants, such as Ted & Wally’s, which specializes in corn ice cream. This creamy treat is a staple in Nebraska, which is why it’s known as the “Cornhusker State.”

When it comes to business, Omaha has long been an economic powerhouse. In fact, it was one of the least affected by the 2008 economic crisis out of all major U.S. cities. Its robust economy is driven by a highly educated workforce and a diverse range of industries.

Known as the “Silicon Prairie,” the city attracts large tech corporations looking to expand into Midwest markets. Its cheaper rents and central location make it an attractive option for these businesses. The city recently released a new master plan that will divide downtown into different districts, including the North and South Riverfront, Joslyn District, Old Market District, and the Entertainment District.
